MAY 23, 2011 Pedestrian Struck By Falling Object
Squad 1, Batt. 1, and MedLink 6 were dispatched to 14 Main Street for a pedestrian who was struck by a falling brick. He was in tough condition upon arrival, and was transported using full ALS. He is now in stable condition at NLMC.
MAY 21, 2011 Residential Structure Fire
Engine 1, Squad 1, Car 2, Batt. 2, and Ladder 1 were dispatched to a structure fire on Oak Street. As shown by the picture, the structure was fully involved. Ladder 1 was called on the second alarm.
MAY 18, 2011 Commercial Structure Fire, Chemical
Squad 1 and Engine 2 were dispatched to a small garage on Oak Street for a structure fire. Upon arrival, crews discovered the fire was fueled by chemicals, and it was extinguished using E-2's and Squad 1's foam systems.
MAY 8, 2011 Trash Can Fire
Engine 2 was dispatched to a trash can fire on Oak Street. A firefighter used Engine 2's bumper trash line to extinguish the fire.
MAY 2, 2011 Impermanent Structure Fire
Engine 2 and Batt. 1 were alerted to a fire behind the convenience store on Main Street. Upon arrival, they found that an industrial generator had caught on fire. It was extinguished using the quick-attack line on E-2.
MAY 1, 2011 Car Fire
At 7 PM, a small car was found on fire at the intersection of Main Street and Oak Street. Engine 2 and Batt. 1 responded. No victims were found in the vehicle, and the fire was extinguished using the foam system aboard E-2.
APRIL 27, 2011 Medical Call
A man waiting for his bus called 911 and complained of chest pains. MedLink Unit 6 responded to the call. The man was transported to North Lego Medical Center and is in stable condition.
APRIL 25, 2011 MVA: ATV vs. Structure
A rider on his ATV struck the mini-mart on Main Street. Engine 1, Car 1, and MedLink Unit 1 responded. The rider was extricated and transported to Sacred Brick Hospital. He is in stable condition.
